A Study On Uyghur Translation Of Chinese Inversion

In language communication,in order to achieve a special pragmatic effect,communicators often change the conventional position of sentence components without changing their original syntactic and semantic relations.This phenomenon is called inversion.In traditional grammar,inversion is generally regarded as the variation of component position at the syntactic level,which is an emphasis sentence pattern.However,since inversion is a variant sentence from the regular sentence,there must be pragmatic motivation in practical application.Inversion widely exists in language communication,but so far,the research on inversion has not been paid enough attention,and the translation research on inversion is even less.Therefore,this paper takes the information structure theory as the theoretical basis,takes the pragmatic function of inversion in Chinese as the starting point,and makes a more comprehensive analysis of inversion in Chinese based on the qualitative research of corpus,so as to explore what characteristics it has after being translated into Uighur and whether it can reflect the special pragmatic effect of Chinese expression.This paper will study from the following aspects:The first chapter is the introduction.This part mainly introduces the basis and significance of the topic,the research status of information structure theory at home and abroad,research methods and corpus sources.The second chapter is an overview of Chinese inversion structure.Firstly,it summarizes the definition / judgment criteria / classification of Chinese inversion from the syntactic level,and then discusses the pragmatic function in the use of Chinese inversion from the perspective of information structure theory,mainly from the function of expressing topic structure/highlighting focus function / expressing emotion color function and adjusting sentence information structure function.Chapter three is a study on the dimensional translation of Chinese inversion.It is mainly analyzed from three aspects: subject predicate structure inversion / state middle structure inversion / fixed middle structure inversion.The fourth chapter is the conclusion.This part summarizes the law of Chinese inversion structure after it is translated into Uyghur,and the translation methods and translation skills adopted,in order to provide some ideas for the future Uyghur translation of Chinese sentence structure,and points out the shortcomings of the paper and the contents that can be further discussed.
