The Application Of Gestalt Theory In The Original Dance Drama Lust For Life

Gestalt theory mainly studies visual perceptual thinking,and its concept is widely used in the exploration and research of visual art.The original dance drama "longing for life" is based on the novel biography "longing for life · biography of Van Gogh",which takes the artist Van Gogh’s life experience and artistic pursuit as the creative blueprint.Inspired by the Gestalt theory,the author extracts the most resonant life segments and presents them in a unique visual style.This paper mainly discusses from three parts: the first part summarizes the Gestalt theory and its relationship with the visual psychological composition of dance;the second part analyzes the application of the Gestalt theory in the whole structure,visual style and image creation of the original dance drama desire for life;the third part expounds the application of Gestalt theory in the application process Dance creation can be dancing and ideological enlightenment.Therefore,the author draws a conclusion that when Gestalt theory is applied to dance creation,we should avoid paying too much attention to the formal consciousness and neglecting the substantive content.We need to measure the structural level and narrative logic,story plot and visual style,dance schema and content,and the accurate grasp of the audience’s psychological commonness from a dialectical,objective and comprehensive perspective.
