Research On The Aesthetic Culture Of Tao Yuan Wood Carving In Hunan

Taoyuan wood carving is a folk art in the Taoyuan area of Changde,with rich subject matter,exquisite techniques and unique styles.Rooted in the folk culture of Taoyuan,its themes and contents,creation methods and forms are rich in the aesthetic and cultural characteristics of Taoyuan folk.Taoyuan wood carving not only reflects the artistic craftsmanship and skill of the craftsmen,but also contains the potential aesthetic consciousness and ideology of the people of Taoyuan.For a long time,academic research on Taoyuan wood carving is scarce,and there is little literature on the aesthetic culture of Taoyuan wood carving to make an in-depth interpretation.In this paper,based on the results of previous studies,the generation and development of Taoyuan wood carving is placed in a certain cultural environment,and the aesthetic culture of Taoyuan wood carving is analyzed as a whole.The study includes three aspects: the aesthetic cultural roots of Taoyuan wood carving,the aesthetic cultural connotation of Taoyuan wood carving and the aesthetic cultural functions of Taoyuan wood carving.Through an in-depth analysis of aesthetic culture,we deepen our understanding of the aesthetic consciousness and artistic value of Taoyuan wood carvings.By using aesthetics,cultural anthropology,and folklore,this paper first composes the origin of Taoyuan wood carving,and then analyzes the reasons for the formation and development of the aesthetic culture of Taoyuan wood carving from the natural and human environment.Then the aesthetic and cultural connotation of Taoyuan wood carving is analyzed,and it is believed that Taoyuan wood carving is mainly influenced by the diversified fusion of Chu culture,Confucianism and Taoism and local folklore culture,which makes Taoyuan wood carving present a kind of ancient and simple and vital quality.Finally,it is concluded that the aesthetic culture of Taoyuan wood carving has the function of cultural identity,inheriting the spirit of the craftsman,transmitting the idea of creation and social edification.The aesthetic culture of Taoyuan wood carving is an important part of the aesthetic culture of Chinese wood carving,and the study of the originality of Taoyuan wood carving modeling is inseparable from the study of the aesthetic culture of Taoyuan wood carving.Moreover,the study of the aesthetic culture of Taoyuan wood carving is of great practical significance in promoting the inheritance of the art and cultural values of Taoyuan wood carving,promoting the development of the cultural and creative products of Taoyuan wood carving and the development of the industrial chain of Taoyuan wood carving.
