In this era of rapid economic growth,we all need to work and realize ourselves through work.In the organizational context,some employees are passionate about their work,love and value their work,and will invest a lot of time and energy to complete the task.On the contrary,some employees lack passion for work and often dislike their work.They may feel disappointed and bored in their work.However,the current research on employees’ work passion mainly lay in its outcome variables,and the research on the antecedents of employees’ work passion was not enough.The behavior of the leader in the organization would affect the attitude and behavior of the employees.Some scholars considered that mindful leadership could affect employees’ emotion and work state in work.Therefore,the role of mindful leadership and employees’ work passion,as well as the role of subordinates’ traditionality and psychological capital were discussed,which had theoretical and practical significance to enhance employees’ psychological capital and improve their work passion.Based on affective events theory,this study collected 359 data from9 companies in Hunan,Hubei,Guangdong,Jiangsu and other regions by questionnaire.Using SPSS23.0,through correlation analysis,regression analysis,mediating effect and moderating effect,to test the relationship between mindful leadership and employees’ work passion,as well as the role of subordinates’ traditionality and psychological capital were discussed.The results showed that:(1)Mindful leadership had a significant effect on psychological capital;(2)Mindful leadership had a significant effect on employees’ work passion;(3)Psychological capital had a significant effect on employees’ work passion;(4)Psychological capital had a partial mediating effect on the relationship between mindful leadership and employees’ work passion;(5)Traditionality had a negative moderating effect on the relationship between mindful leadership and psychological capital;(6)Traditionality acted as a mediated-moderator,which negatively moderated the relationship between mindful leadership and psychological capital.The conclusion showed that: The mediating role of psychological capital was negatively moderated by traditionality,which was relationship between mindful leadership and psychological capital was stronger when the level of traditionality was weaker,on the contrary,the relationship was higher.
