A Comparative Study Of Yueyanglou District Dialect And Yueyang County Dialect

Yueyanglou district and Yueyang County are located at the junction of Hunan and Jiangxi.The dialect of Yueyanglou district and Yueyang County are also the transitional zone between Xiang languages nd Gan languages.In the dialect division,Yueyanglou dialect and most of Yueyang dialect belong to Gan dialect,and rongjiawan area belongs to Xiang dialect.The main basis for dividing the rongjiawan dialect of Yueyang County into Xiang dialect is that most of the voiced initials in ancient times are voiceless in modern times,and the value of Yin detuning is similar to that in Changsha.However,it is far from enough for the dialects in the transitional zone to judge the ownership of dialects only by the differences between the two phonetics.When discussing the dialect division,especially in the excessively mixed area,the single phonetic standard can not meet the actual needs.We can use multiple criteria such as pronunciation,vocabulary and grammar to compare and distinguish.Therefore,taking Yueyanglou dialect and Yueyang county dialect as the research object,this paper compares the two dialects from three aspects of pronunciation,vocabulary and grammar,and uses the quantitative method to judge the ownership of Yueyang dialect.It is not only helpful to the discussion and research of Yueyang dialect,but also helpful to the division of Chinese dialect.The full text is divided into five parts: the first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the dialect and geographical situation of Yueyanglou district and Yueyang County,Yueyang administrative map,the research significance,content and methods of the article.This enables readers to have a preliminary understanding of Yueyang and provides a premise for the later elaboration.The second chapter is the comparison of phonetics.This paper makes a comprehensive comparison between Yueyanglou dialect and Yueyang county dialect,and focuses on the false sound phenomenon of Yueyang dialect.It is found that the falsetto in Yueyang dialect exists in two tone categories: Yinqu and Rusheng.The third chapter is the comparison of vocabulary.A total of 837 words of 26 categories are selected to compare the similarities of Yueyanglou dialect,Yueyang county dialect,Changsha urban dialect and Nanchang urban dialect.It is found that Yueyang dialect is closer to Nanchang Dialect in vocabulary,and the bottom of vocabulary is closer to Gan dialect.The fourth chapter is the comparison of grammar.The similarities and differences between Yueyanglou dialect and Yueyang County Dialect are compared in this chapter,from three aspects of morphology,part of speech and sentence pattern,and sorts out 17 items for similarity rate statistics.It is found that the grammatical similarity of Yueyang dialect is 75%.The fifth chapter is the conclusion.This chapter summarizes the similarities between Yueyang dialects in pronunciation,vocabulary and grammar,and finds that the similarities between Yueyang dialects are high.From the perspective of quantitative analysis,the result shows that Yueyang dialect belongs to Gan dialect.
