| Cohesion means that the sentences that make up a text are connected together with a certain method.These ways are the means of cohesion.At present,domestic research on discourse cohesion theory mainly focuses on translation research and teaching research.Few articles have conducted research on the cohesive methods of Chinese novels.This article takes Jia Pingwa’s "Qin Opera",which won the Contradiction Literature Award,as the object of investigation to conduct a study of discourse cohesion.This article makes a qualitative analysis based on the quantitative statistics of the cohesive methods of "Qin Opera",and summarizes the characteristics of the use of cohesive methods of "Qin Opera".This article consists of six parts:Part one: Introduction.This paper combs the domestic and foreign researches on discourse theory,cohesion theory,cohesion means,and the language of Qin Opera.This article takes "Qin Opera" as the corpus to analyze the cohesive means used in it.The research object and research method of this paper are also introduced.The second part: the grammatical cohesion of "Qin Opera".This chapter analyzes the grammatical cohesion in Qin Opera from three aspects: referential cohesion,substitution cohesion and ellipsis cohesion.which is related to the content of the novel and the cohesive function of each cohesive means.The third part: the lexical cohesion of "Qin Opera".This chapter analyzes the lexical cohesion means of Qin Opera from three aspects: recurrence,collocation and lexical cohesion.The fourth part: the logical connection of "Qin Opera".This chapter analyzes the logical cohesion means of Qin Opera from three aspects: "detailed","extended" and "enhanced",and found that "extension" is the most commonly used logical cohesion means,which is related to the narrative content and language style of the novel.larger relationship.The fifth part: the reasons for the use of cohesive means in "Qin Opera".This chapter analyzes the internal and external factors that affect the use of cohesion in Qin Opera.The internal factor is the coherence of the text,and the external factor is the expression effect of the text.Part VI: Conclusion.Summarize the main content,reflect on the shortcomings of the research and think about the direction of follow-up in-depth investigation. |
