| Sense of Agency(So A)refers to the subjective experience of individuals feeling in control of their own behavior and,by doing so,of external events. At the core is the link between proactive action and result feedback.According to the two-step model, the sense of agency can be divided into Feeling of Agency(Fo A)at the implicit unconscious level and Judgement of Agency(Jo A)at the explicit conscious level. The different components are observed by different measurement methods.Previous studies have focused on the effect of one aspect of feedback on So A and found that emotional feedback and rewarding feedback both influence it.However,in real life feedback may have multiple characteristics,so the ecological validity of previous studies is insufficient. In this series of studies, college and junior high school students were used as subjects to investigate the effects of simultaneously presented rewarding and emotional feedback on So A,using feeling of control and the time interval estimation method. The rewarding and emotional properties of the same action feedback are completely independent of each other, hence the term feedback conflict.Specifically,Study 1,using college students as subjects, examine the effects of feedback conflict on So A.Study 2,using junior high school students as subjects, focused on changes in So A in teenagers, but also explored the differences between their development of So A.Study 3 still used junior high school students as subjects and combined with f NIRs technology, attempted to explore the neural mechanisms of dominance changes in adolescents. The main experimental results are as follows. The main experimental results are as follows.(1)In the explicit So A task of college students, the reward main effect of feeling of control scores was significant, with the gaining reward condition was significantly higher than the losing reward condition. In the implicit So A task of college students, the emotion main effect of time interval estimates was marginally significant, with the positive emotion condition smaller than the neutral emotion condition and the positive emotion condition smaller than the negative emotion condition.(2)In the explicit So A task of junior high school students,The reward main effect was significant, with the gaining reward condition having a significantly greater sense of control score than the losing reward condition;the emotion main effect of sense of control was marginally significant, and the simple effect did not differ significantly. In the implicit So A task of junior high school students,Time interval estimates of the main effect of mood were marginally significant, with the positive mood condition smaller than the neutral mood condition and the positive mood condition smaller than the negative mood condition. The results of the combined series of studies lead to the following conclusions.(1)For adults, the explicit component of So A is influenced by the rewarding properties of the feedback, and the implicit component is influenced by the emotional properties of the feedback.(2)For teenagers, the explicit component of So A is influenced primarily by the rewarding properties of the feedback and secondarily by the emotional properties;the implicit component is influenced by the emotional properties of the feedback. |
