| Chinese Zodiac culture is the most representative traditional culture and folk custom in the Chinese nation.It is an artistic and cultural treasure created by our ancestors with the animal totem corresponding to the twelve branches.It bears our ancestors’ folk custom concept of praying for Naji and their endless desire for reproduction.It has very important historical and cultural connotations.In today’s materialistic and changing times,people’s spiritual needs have become generally strong.The "Zodiac" has always played an important role in our daily spiritual life,and constantly endowed them with new connotations and aesthetics,and also continuously produced new cultural contents and artistic styles.How to excavate and release the new styles of the "Zodiac" in the performance of some traditional media is a topic worthy of consideration and practice.The creation of "Zodiac" represented by ceramic media has a long history.Different social periods have their specific functions and styles.Ceramic materials are rich in expressive force,constantly exhausting the expressions of various forms,dynamics and expressions of ceramic Zodiac.Both form and spirit have always been the pursuit and expression of most ceramic artists.In today’s digital age,there are more and more lonely young people immersed in their own relatively closed or even virtual world.Pets,companions,dolls,simulations,etc.seem to be common phenomena.Based on this,I think "personification" is an important means to express animal sculptures.I have a strong interest in animal sculpture in the undergraduate stage,and like the human nature of animals.In the graduate stage,I mainly focus on the ceramic creation of anthropomorphic animals.This paper attempts to meet the diversified aesthetic and spiritual needs of the present time by shaping anthropomorphic ceramic animal sculptures,and to show more concern for human nature.At the same time,it can carry forward the traditional cultural connotation of Chinese zodiac signs,enrich the forms of ceramic animal sculptures and expand the modeling language of ceramic animal sculptures.This paper expounds the cultural value and practical application value of ceramic sculpture of the zodiac.This paper analyzes the language features of personification of Chinese zodiac ceramic sculpture,focusing on the creation source,conceptual design,production process and display mode of December Will. |
