Laos and China have a deep historical relationship since ancient times. In recent years, with the improvement of China’s strength, more and more Laotian students have been attracted to study in China. However, there are few researches on Laotian students’ acquisition of Chinese phonetics due to a large number of teaching needs.Consonant is an important part of the phonetic system, which occupies a more basic position in phonetic teaching.Compared with the Consonant phonological system of Lao and Han,it is found that the distribution and number of fricative and fricative in the two phonetic systems are very different, which also leads to difficulties for Laotian international students in learning.Based on the theory of stoneblade speech pattern, adopt the method of experimental phonetics, the Laos senior level Chinese foreign students learned the modern Chinese initials fricative, affricate situation was analyzed, and compared with the Chinese native speakers, find the Laos foreign students learn Chinese fricative, affricate difficulties and errors, errors analysis,At the same time, some teaching suggestions for reference are put forward. In terms of fricative, the center of gravity(COG)and dispersion degree(DIS)of the five fricative sounds produced by Laotian students were smaller. It shows that the Laotian students’ pronunciation position is more forward and the overall friction gap is larger. In terms of affricate, the silent occlusive duration(GAP)and vocal friction duration(DOF)of Lao students were generally shorter, indicating incomplete pronunciation. The center of gravity(COG)and dispersion degree(DIS)are larger, indicating that the pronunciation position is backward and the friction gap is larger. It is found that the negative transfer of mother tongue is the main reason for the errors in the acquisition of Chinese affricate and affricate by Lao students.
