Discussion Of The "Cameraless Photography" In Contemporary Art

Generally speaking,the inherent concept of photography is to take,get and retain images with a camera.But throughout the history of photography,we can find that no matter we are in which period,there are countless cases that break our conventional experience-even if we don’t use cameras to take pictures,we can still get images.The term "cameraless photography" describes a type of photography,which is mainly made by imitating the shooting process.It eliminates the process of light refracting through the lens to reach the photosensitive substrate,and is usually regarded as completely different from the image made by the camera.However,the status of cameraless photography has always been controversial.Although it is not often directly used to describe in the words,the analysis of its nature still belongs to the category of photography.One the one hand,the subject of cameraless photography seems to be scarce in the history of photography and theoretical photography.On the other hand the concept and theory of cameraless photography has not been effectively combed and studied.Therefore,there is much more to be studied.This paper will analyze the nature of cameraless photography,classify it scientifically and systematically,and discuss the unique language and artistic value of it on the premise of photography as a contemporary art medium.Finally,it tries to summarize the important influence and development trend of cameraless photography on photography art.
