Research On Narrative Strategy Of Story In Documentary Creation

With the rapid development of documentary in the field of literature and art market in recent years,the forms of documentary are also changing quietly.Documentary creators are more in pursuit of film expressiveness,and tend to use story oriented narrative methods in narrative techniques.Documentary story narrative is one of the important narrative techniques in the process of documentary creation.This technique helps to improve the competitiveness and share of documentary works in the market.At the same time,there are many problems gradually.The scale and method of documentary story narrative technique has become a big problem for documentary creators.In order to study the application of documentary narrative strategy in the process of documentary creation,this paper will be divided into two parts: theoretical research and creative practice.At the same time,literature research,case analysis and comparative analysis will be combined.Through the collation of relevant known literature and the analysis of typical documentary works in today’s market,This paper discusses the narrative strategy of documentary story and applies it to graduation works.This paper is divided into four parts.The first part starts from the definition of the concept,elaborates the related concepts of documentary story and the development process of documentary story narrative;In the second part,the narrative form and narrative elements of documentary narrative technique are discussed in detail from three aspects of narrative time,space and perspective,including the comparative analysis of typical works in the existing documentary market;The third part mainly discusses the role of narrative content and narrative rhythm in the documentary story narrative,and makes an in-depth discussion in four aspects: plot rhythm,picture rhythm,sound rhythm and editing rhythm.The last part is to discuss the practical application of documentary story narrative in the creation,summarize and reflect on the creation process of walking Millennium ancient town,and re-examine the theoretical results of personal creative practice.
