| It has been more than one hundred years since watercolor art was introduced into China from the west.With the continuous exploration of predecessors,watercolor art has developed rapidly.Nowadays,Chinese watercolor painting has taken on a new look,and the fusion of Chinese and Western painting has become the mainstream.Watercolor artists generally learn from the formal language and its composition principle of western modern painting and effectively apply it to their own research and creation,which has become the focus of study and research for watercolor artists.I convert the form of Chinese and western artists work principle to apply personal experience to their creation of watercolor painting,this way of dealing with the picture for the author is a kind of brand-new understanding,broke the traditional painting consciousness and behavior,make the picture has a new look,to create a batch of is the watercolor painting works of contemporary feeling.This paper is divided into three chapters.The first chapter briefly discusses the attitude of western modern art theory to form.This paper expounds the views of Clive Bell and Arnheim on form respectively,and they both affirm the important position of form in painting creation,which provides great inspiration for western modern artists to study visual form.The second chapter mainly discusses the transformation and application of the formal language of modernism in Chinese contemporary watercolor creation.The author first elaborates the art practice of Wu Dayu,Wu Guanzhong and other predecessors,who have made great contributions to the transformation of Chinese fine arts.Secondly,it summarizes the language transformation of point,line and plane and its constitution principle,space and color in the application of Chinese contemporary watercolor artists,and lists the works of well-known domestic watercolor painters and young artists such as Yao Bo,Zhou Gang and Chen Jian for analysis.The third chapter mainly discusses the author through a large number of landscape sketching works on the form of practice process.At first,the author used collage to practice the conversion of form language,which gradually broke the traditional thinking of painting and paved a good way for the application of form in watercolor painting.Through a large number of landscape painting,the author slowly mastered the formal language and its composing principle,consciously processed the space,and subjectively changed the objective colors according to the needs of the picture and emotional needs,unconsciously formed his own painting language. |
