The cartoon industry is at the upstream starting point of the animation industry chain,and its development trend is very important for the whole animation industry.Juvenile comics are an important part of comics and occupy a large proportion of the comics market.Under the current internet background,the development of China’s juvenile comics journals is facing great opportunities and challenges,which urgently needs academic support.This paper takes MK Weekly and Weekly Shonen Jump as the breakthrough point,and uses the relevant theories of publishing science to make a multi-angle comparative study on their publishing strategies,and puts forward feasible promotion strategies for the future development of China’s juvenile comic periodicals,to provide innovative ideas and reference for the sustainable development of China’s juvenile comic periodicals and even the whole comic periodicals route.This paper includes four chapters: the first chapter is the introduction,which introduces the background of the topic,combs the research status,clarifies the research ideas and objectives,and explains the significance and innovation of the research.The second chapter briefly combs the development history of China and Japan’s juvenile comics journals and introduces the history and development status of MK Weekly and Weekly Shonen Jump.The third chapter compares and analyses the similarities and differences in publishing strategies between MK Weekly and Weekly Shonen Jump from nine aspects,namely,publication policy,reader orientation,comic content,layout design,author training,electronic version development,publicity mode,distribution mode and industrial chain,and summarises their advantages and disadvantages.The fourth chapter discusses the Enlightenment of the publishing strategies of MK Weekly and Weekly Shonen Jump on the development of China’s future juvenile comic periodicals.It provides the development direction and promotion strategies for the benign development of China’s juvenile comic periodicals. |
