Analysis On Artistic Characteristics And Singing Skills Of Jiang Kui’s Baishi Taoist Songs

Poem music used to be named as "rhythm songs" in the Song Dynasty,which is composed of "poem" and "music",and is depicted as "Song Ci" nowadays.Hence the Baishi Taoist Songs written by Jiang Kui is the peak of the rhythm development which is created by a famous poem writer in the Southern Song Dynasty.Its innovative tone,including both the palace tune and the musical character,is the most powerful files for the musical study and literature creation in the Southern Song Dynasty.Meanwhile the empty and elegant lyrics have impressed posterity.Among them,17 pieces are annotated with Gongche notation,which is the only complete record of rhythm music in Chinese history.This paper starts with Jiang Kui’s life experience,the introduction and the artistic features of Baishi Taoist Songs,and focuses on the exploration of the lyric artistic conception,rhythm characteristics and singing skills of Aricot Blossom Sky Shadow,thus providing a summary of practical experience and enlightenment for colleagues who study the artistic characteristics and singing methods of Baishi Taoist Songs.
