| The 21st century is a rapid development era of computer technology,multimedia technology and network technology.All kinds of information technologies are reshaping the education mode with its revolutionary power,and the influence on the field of education is also increasingly far-reaching.English writing is one of the most important and difficult points in the National College Entrance Examination(NCEE).Especially after the new curriculum reform,writing test items in some areas have changed from English practical writing to summary writing and continuation writing,which puts forward higher requirements for students’ comprehensive language ability.Therefore,based on the status quo of English writing teaching in our city,this study will combine advantages of MET(Modern Educational Technology)and use literature,questionnaire,interview and test method,rely on constructivism learning theory,humanism learning theory and self-regulated theory,aim to explore how to integrate English writing teaching with MET effectively,to study whether this integration can improve students’ writing level and teachers’ writing teaching level ultimately.Through the analysis of student questionnaire and interview,it is found that most senior middle school students lack vocabulary,language organization ability and imagination in the process of writing and result in low writing scores.According to the teacher questionnaire and interview,most teachers do not pay enough attention to the writing course,lack efficient teaching methods,which lead to the low efficiency of writing classroom.In addition,through the questionnaire and related literature analysis,it is also found that although the popularity of multimedia in many schools is relatively high,there are not many students who can really apply it to the writing class.The main reason is that teachers do not pay enough attention to the writing class,and that teachers’ technical level is limited and other factors do not really make MET serve the teaching of English writing.In view of the above situation,this study applies MET to all stages of writing teaching,and carries out a three-month teaching experiment,and then uses the test method to test the students’ writing effect.The results show that the experimental results are consistent with the research hypothesis: Students’ writing performance and writing ability have been improved to a certain extent.Based on the above research results,this study puts forward four teaching suggestions for the introduction of MET to writing class: Firstly,teachers should actively learn some basic computer operation knowledge to ensure the teaching effect.Secondly,there are many teaching advantages of MET assisted English writing course.Teachers must make full use of them,but they should not rely too much on technical approaches.Thirdly,when writing on a computer or mobile phone,students must concentrate on completing the writing task and not do anything unrelated to writing.Fourthly,when referring to other materials,students must have their own ideas and avoid plagiarism. |
