A Study Of Adverbs In Wangcheng Dialect Of Zaoyang,Hubei Province

Modern Chinese adverbs have been the focus of the study of Chinese vocabulary and grammar since ancient times.Their functions and usages are diverse,and they are used frequently in daily life.Therefore,they have become a hot topic in the study of modern Chinese.As an important part of local dialects,dialect adverbs are of great value in displaying the vocabulary,grammar and language features of local dialects.The adverbs in Wangcheng dialect of Zaoyang are abundant in quantity and varied in usage.So far,few articles have described them in detail.Therefore,a comprehensive and systematic investigation on the adverbs of Zaoyang Wangcheng dialect can provide information and reference for the study of single point dialects in other areas of Hubei province and the northern part of southwest mandarin dialect,and at the same time is conducive to a comprehensive understanding of the general situation of Zaoyang Wangcheng dialect,and to better record and preserve the original appearance of Zaoyang Wangcheng dialect.This paper takes the adverbs in Wangcheng dialect of Zaoyang City,Hubei Province as the research object,collects the corpus by means of field investigation,literature review and so on,divides the adverbs in Wangcheng dialect of Zaoyang City into two groups,AB,and focuses on the representative adverbs in Group A,which have high frequency of use and special functional usage.This paper makes a synchronic and diachronic description and investigation of these adverbs by using the grammatical theory of "three planes",subjectivity theory and so on.It is found that each type of adverbs in Wangcheng dialect of Zaoyang has its own characteristics.Some adverbs have the same form as Putonghua,but their usage and meaning are quite different from Putonghua.Some adverbs have the same sound shape and different meanings,so they belong to different categories of adverbs,and some adverbs have retained some usages of modern Chinese adverbs.The paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,first introduced in this paper,the research object and research meaning,secondly in linguistic adverb research status abroad and domestic Chinese mandarin dialect adverbs adverb research status,research status and larger dialect research situation,then pointed out in this paper,the research theory and methods,and the source language and style are introduced,finally expounds the general situation of the geography humanities larger metropolis and its dialect sound system.The second part introduces the general situation and classification of the adverbs in Wangcheng dialect of Zaoyang.It divides the adverbs in Wangcheng dialect into six categories: degree adverbs,range adverbs,time adverbs,frequency adverbs,mood adverbs,modal adverbs and negative adverbs according to Hu Yushu’s classification viewpoint Then,according to the classification standards of previous scholars,each of these six categories of adverbs is divided into several sub-categories,and each sub-category of adverbs is divided into two groups,typical member and non-typical member,according to the relevant viewpoints of family member similarity of prototype category theory,and the specific classification of these adverbs is presented in a list.The third part analyzes the characteristic adverbs of Wangcheng dialect in Zaoyang.This paper selects six Adverbs“sao（骚）”“ri（日）”“huidi（回地）”“wangchuo(往□[uɑ（?）²⁴t（?）^huo⁵⁵])”“xianxiar（现现（儿））”“dehuir（得会儿）”,this paper describes the syntactic features,semantic features and pragmatic value of these six adverbs in detail,and some characteristics of adverbs comparing with mandarin dialects and other relative adverbs.The fourth part is the evolution process and subjective analysis of the characteristic adverbs in Wangcheng dialect of Zaoyang.This chapter mainly discusses the“sao（骚）”“ri（日）”diachronic evolution is analyzed,and by using the theory of subjectivity and subjectivity“sao（骚）”“ri（日）”“huidi（回地）”“wangchuo(往□[uɑ（?）²⁴t（?）^huo⁵⁵])”“xianxiar（现现（儿））”“dehuir（得会儿）”to carry on the analysis,to further reveal the characteristic of city dialect adverbs.The fifth part is the conclusion.This paper summarizes the main content of this paper and the characteristics of Zaoyang Wangcheng dialect adverbs,and also points out the problems in this paper and the space for further research.
