Homophones have always been a difficulty for foreign students to acquire Chinese. The two Chinese characters in the "Yiyi(meaning)" have the same pronunciation and similar but different ideographic meaning. The ideographic meaning of words composed of this group of homophones is elusive, and the error rate is high in the acquisition process of foreigners.According to the research standard of Easily-confused Word, this paper collects the errors in the acquisition of the homophone words, summarized the types of errors, analyzed the causes of different types of errors, and issued corresponding teaching countermeasures for the compilation of textbooks and the teaching of homophone words in class."Yi" and "Yi" are two homophones in HSK vocabulary syllabus, most of which appear in middle and advanced level. Therefore, errors regularly occur in the process of foreign students’ acquisition of Chinese. These errors show the characteristics of regularity and nationalization.According to the position of confusion, acquisition errors can be divided into mutual substitution, other word mixing and order reversal. This paper analyzed the causes of different types of errors, major reasons including:the complexity of Chinese morpheme meanings, the lack of awareness of Chinese morphemes, synchronically, the incomprehension of cultural meaning of Chinese words.Due to the above analysis of the causes of errors, this paper issued several teaching countermeasures, including:in the compilation of teaching materials, optimizing the interpretation of new words and the arrangement of practice forms;in classroom teaching, flexible teaching according to the characteristics of learners.
