In the long history of the Chinese nation,Guanzhong area played a center role in politics,economy,culture and so on for a long time,obviously being vital for military and capital set.The Guanzhong area mentioned in this thesis refers to the central part of Shaanxi Province,including(now)Xi’an,Baoji,Xianyang,Weinan,Tongchuan and other regions.The mausoleum system of Western Han Dynasty was influenced by Qin,featuring integrity and rigor.Besides,the difference between the Eastern and Western Han Dynasty is also distinct.The more representative royal tombs of the Western Han Dynasty include the Mausoleum Ba of the Emperor Wen Liu Heng,Mausoleum Yang of the Emperor Liu Qi with Empress Wang,Mao Mausoleum of the Emperor Wu Liu Che and other eleven imperial maosoleums.According to the materials,tomb figures can be divided into three types,including wooden figurines,stone figurines and pottery figurines.Compared with the flesh,pottery figurines are easier to perserve for containing minerals in clay.So they are often seen in the mausoleums to show the life and position of the owners.Pottery industry in the Western Han Dynasty was advanced.Passing on from the predecessors,the shape of the pottery figurines had been innovated.The unearthed pottery figurines are expecially dense in the Guanzhong area.With brilliant colors,the most kinds of them are dance figurines,ceremonial and guard figurines,and maid figurines with vitality and purity in more than5,000 tombs.They represent excellent sculpture artworks with unique ethnic style of pottery in antient China.The subject of fine arts has always been closely related to the discipline of archaeology.The pottery figurines in Guanzhong area came from the Western Han Dynasty.From the perspective of contemporary fine arts,firstly,from the social background of the pottery figurines in Guanzhong area,this paper discusses the creative motivation of the craftsmen in the Western Han Dynasty.Secondly,according to the responsibilities of the people corresponding to the pottery figurines,this paper tries to make a simple classification of the pottery figurines in Guanzhong area,and select the more representative ones Thirdly,by comparing the artistic styles of the pottery figurines in Guanzhong area of the Western Han Dynasty with those in Xuzhou area and Qingzhou area of the Western Han Dynasty,the article horizontally extracts the rich and conservative character temperament of the pottery figurines in Guanzhong area of the Western Han Dynasty.This paper clarifies the time context,summarizes the evolution law of pottery figurines in Guanzhong area in different periods,and longitudinally illustrates the unique charm of the combination of freehand brushwork and realism of pottery figurines in Guanzhong area in the Western Han Dynasty,so as to more accurately analyze the artistic beauty of pottery figurines in Guanzhong area in the Western Han Dynasty,which will help young sculptors in the new period to better absorb and transform them into contemporary sculpture works. |
