| Sidonie-Gabrielle Colette（1873-1954）was one of the most famous French writers in the 20thcentury.Colette’s life was free,she has created more than forty works,and her works touch on an important philosophical question——how people exist through the pain and the loss of love,the poetic perception of nature and life.Existence is a dynamic process by which an individual can manifest,open,and comprehend himself in a difficult situation.In Colette’s works,the characters have to experience all kinds of fragmentation,whether it is the wandering situation to escape or the initial germination of subjecticity.It is exactly what Colette thinks about.For everybody,it is the only way to reach the true existence.In the transcendence of the predicament,Colette integrates the pain of survival into the carnival of natural life.Through annimals,plants,mother and spiritual homes,Colette shows the meaning of survivl.From the perspective of existentialism,this paper intends explore how Colette seeks a poetic existence between the“individual existence situation”and the“return of anthenticity”.At the same time,the interweaving of reality and fiction,poetic language are also the way to resist non-authentic world.That is,to build a dwelling place through the uniqueness of language,poemize existence,and step into the road of authentic survival.Colette writes from life,embracing a sincere heart,not only lets us see all kinds of sorrows,but also lets us experience and surpass the unbearable weight of life with passion and pain. |
