Error processing has always been the subject of cognitive linguistics and second language acquisition.In language learning,mistakes are inevitable.However,with the development of error analysis theory,linguists’ study of errors shifted from the external environment of language to learners themselves,and people began to study language errors dynamically and systematically.Based on the theory of error analysis and interlanguage theory,this paper classifies the common types of oral errors of junior high school students through text analysis and experimental research,and conducts research and analysis on the heuristics and direct reference formal error correction strategies.There are three main contents of the study :(1)What are the common types of oral errors of junior high school students?(2)What are the common error correction strategies used by teachers in class?(3)For common types of spoken errors,whether the heuristic error correction strategy is more effective than the formal error correction strategy?This experiment takes the students and teachers of Jiaozhou Junior Experimental Middle School as the research objects,and studies the common types of oral errors and error correction strategies of junior high school students and according to the experimental results,the author draw the following conclusions:(1)the common type of oral errors in junior high school students are divided into 10 categories,respectively verbs,nouns,vocabulary,pronunciation,pronouns,adjective errors,adverb errors,prepositions,conjunctions,and syntax.The first three types of errors with the highest frequency are verb errors,lexical errors and noun errors.Less frequent types of errors are adverb errors and conjunctions.(2)The error correction strategies commonly used by teachers include direct reference to formal,heuristic suggestion,tolerance suggestion,formal praise suggestion,criticism suggestion and peer correction.(3)By adopting different error correction strategies for the control class and the experimental class,this study confirms that the heuristic error correction strategy is more effective than the direct reference to the formal error correction strategy.In order to improve the oral English level of junior high school students,this study puts forward relevant teaching suggestions,aiming at improving the problems existing in the classroom.In order to improve the oral level of junior high school students,this study puts forward relevant teaching suggestions.(1)Teachers should pay attention to students’ oral mistakes in class and correct them according to needs.(2)When students make oral mistakes,teachers should adopt more heuristic error correction strategies to guide students to think by themselves,and finally achieve the goal of error correction.(3)Oral mistakes are grammatical mistakes in nature.Teachers should pay attention to grammar teaching in classroom teaching.Grammar is the foundation for students to learn a language well.
