| Fu is an important literature style in ancient China.Western Jin Dynasty is a critical period in the development history of Fu,after Han Dynasty and Wei Dynasty,before Eastern Jin Dynasty,Southern and Northern Dynasties.In keeping with the prosperity of Fu works,the theories of Fu in the Western Jin Dynasty have also developed compared with the previous ones.One is to follow the previous theories and to supplement,and the other is to produce new theories in the context of the popularity of Metaphysics and the revival of Confucianism.On the basis of pervious research,this paper intends to make a systematic summary of theories of Fu in Western Jin Dynasty.They would be divided into three chapters of origin theory,creation theory and style theory,then the fourth chapter would tell the influence of theories of Fu in Western Jin Dynasty on posterity.The first chapter discusses the origin theories of Fu in Western Jin Dynasty.Ban Gu believed that Fu originated from “The Book of Poetry”,which inspired the views of the source of Fu of Huangfu Mi,Zuo Si and Zhi Yu.All three of them have developed their opinions on the basis of it.Huangfu Mi emphasized the characteristics of Fu in"Fu-Hong-Ti-Li".Zuo Si newly put forward that Fu comes from "six meaning" of “The Book of Poetry”,thought that Fu literature and the “six meaning" of “fu” had origins in the art of laying out.Zhi Yu discovered the sentimental function of Fu and put forward literary requests.These three points of view of source of Fu did not abandon historical inheritance and new changes of the times.All of them paved the way for their own views for their creative theories of Fu and style theories of Fu.The second chapter summarizes the creative theories of Fu in Western Jin Dynasty.Criticisms of Fu in Western Jin Dynasty succeed the said of "Fu-Xin" and the said of"Fu-Ji",respectively corresponded to the content and form in the process of fu creation.About the criticisms of content,Zuo Si put forwarded the concept of “Zheng-Shi”,thought that recorded things should to be clear about its authenticity,in order to play the function of “Shang-Feng-Xia-Jian”.Huangfu Mi,Cheng Gongsui and Fu Xian advocated the method of “Chu-Lei".It enabled Fu to reach the state of great quotations in writing,and triggered deep inner emotions or philosophical thinking at the same time.About the criticisms of form,Lu Ji advocated the said of “Qian-Yan-Gui-Yan”,put forwarded the theories of "Qi Mi" and "Liu Liang",making efforts of the harmony of sound of Fu.Lu Ji and Lu Yun insisted on the antithesis of Fu,and promoted the direction of Fu got a new direction on “Pian”.Lu Yun advocated rhyming with fu and commented on how the essay turns.The third chapter analyzes the style theories of Fu in Western Jin Dynasty.In the style of "Li",Huangfu Mi put forwarded that "Fu is the beautiful text".It reconciled the contradictions of "Li-Yi-Ze" and "Li-Yi-Yin" from Yang Xiong.Lu Ji’s said of "Qi mi" contains the beautiful rhetorical meaning and harmonious sound.In the theory of "Emotion ",mainly included doctrine of " Ti-Wu" of Lu Ji.The said of " Ti-Wu" covers the said of "Yuan-Qing",and the emotion of things were enhanced in the proportion of Fu.Lu Yun believed the said of "Fu-Qing-Er-Yan",the depth of emotion as the criteria for good or bad.He set the depth of emotion as the criterion for judging the quality of Fu.The fourth chapter combing the influence of theories of Fu in Western Jin Dynasty in posterity,including on the theories and creations.Theories of Fu in Western Jin Dynasty influences later generations,such as the source of "Six Meanings",the said of "Li",the theory of "Yuan-Qing" and phonology theory.In aspect of other literary theory,the said of "Li" influenced the theory of “Pian” essay.The use of “Pian” and the use of rhyme were to influence "Yongming Sound Theory".The theory of "Ti-Wu" influenced the formation of "Gan-Wu",and the theory of "Yuan-Qing" influenced the theory of "Xing-Qing".Theories of Fu in Western Jin Dynasty established the parallel aesthetic of Fu,made Fu walk along the way of “Pian Fu” and “Rhythmic Fu”.In other literary styles,the theory of “Pian” influenced the creation of parallel prose,and the thought of "Yuan-Qing" and "Ti-Wu" influenced the development of chanting literature. |
