A Comprehensive Study Of Goudiao Unearthed In The West And East Zhou Dynasties

Goudiao,a musical instrument popular in the Western Zhou and Eastern Zhou dynasties,was mainly distributed in Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Anhui and Shandong provinces.Based on the comprehensive collection of Goudiao unearthed in the Western Zhou Dynasty and the Eastern Zhou Dynasty throughout the country,this paper takes the published data as the basis,uses traditional archaeological methods,combined with the relevant materials of the inscriptions,through comparative analysis and other methods,This paper discusses the origin,type evolution rule,stage and age,distribution,usage and users of Goudiao unearthed in the Western Zhou and Eastern Zhou dynasties.The introduction part first clarifies the background and significance of the topic,then sorts out the relevant research results unearthed in the Zhou Dynasty Goudiao,introduces the research ideas and methods of this paper,and explains the relevant issues in the paper.The second chapter firstly sorts out the archaeological discovery of Goudiao in each area,grasping the main characteristics of Goudiao and the age of the excavated Goudiao tombs and sites.Then,using the method of archeological typology,this paper divides bronze,primitive porcelain and hard pottery Goudiao into two types,namely A and B,to analyze the development and evolution of Goudiao.In combination with the age of the tombs and sites unearthed,the development of bronze Goudiao can be divided into three periods,corresponding to the late Western Zhou Dynasty to the early Spring and Autumn Period,the middle and late Spring and Autumn Period,and the late Spring and Autumn Period to the late Warring States Period.The development of primitive porcelain and hard pottery Goudiao can be divided into two periods,corresponding to the late Spring and Autumn Period to the early Warring States Period and the Warring States Period.The third chapter mainly analyzes the different functions of Goudiao based on the contents of Goudiao inscriptions,changes in shape and structure,composition of utensils,excavated sites and document contents.In this paper,the inscription of Goudiao unearthed from various tombs and sites,the composition of utensils,the land,the shape and scale of tombs,and the specifications of burial utensils are combed.In combination with the stages and distribution of Goudiao,the changes of Goudiao users in different regions and different times are further discussed.Through the above analysis,it can be seen that the users of bronze Goudiao were mainly the middle and high class nobles in the states of Xu,Qi,Wu and Yue.The tomb owners of the excavated primitive porcelain and hard pottery ware were all middle and high ranking nobles of the State of Yue,and the highest rank was the official of the State of Yue.At the early stage of the development of bronze Goudiao,A-type Goudiao was used by the nobles of the State of Wu,and then by the nobles of the State of Yue and the regions affected by Wuyue culture.The nobles of the State of Qi in the middle and late Spring and Autumn Period in Shandong began to use B-type Goudiao.By the late development of Goudiao,its users were mainly the middle and high nobles of Yue and the high nobles of Qi.The fourth chapter mainly combs the distribution of various types of bronze Goudiao,and analyzes the distribution and dissemination of bronze Goudiao in combination with the age of each tomb and site.According to the comprehensive information,the bronze Goudiao is mainly distributed in the southern part of Jiangsu and Anhui,the northeast part of Zhejiang and Shandong.Type A bronze Goudiao first appeared in southern Anhui and southern Jiangsu from the late Western Zhou Dynasty to the early Spring and Autumn Period,and then radiated to the east and west along the Yangtze River.In the middle and late Spring and Autumn Period,B-type bronze Goudiao appeared in Shandong,and it was less likely that it was directly introduced from Wuyue area or influenced by it.Secondly,the development of early bronze Zheng is reviewed and the characteristics of early bronze Zheng and Goudiao are compared.It is believed that the origin of Type A bronze Goudiao is closely related to Zheng.The bronze Goudiao and the land close,the age of the similar bronze nao were compared,think A bronze Goudiao and bronze nao also have some connection,and B bronze Goudiao should be more close.
