This paper takes Op.12 by Schumann,a German composer and pianist in the Romantic period,as an example, and discusses it from the perspective of musical style and performance. The first part of the article discusses and analyzes the background of the creation of the work and the music text.It is believed that the composition background of this song includes the background of the development of romantic music and the background of Schumann’s personal emotional experience. On the analysis and summary of the music ontology,it is considered that this music is prominent reflected in the musical style structure with the passage as the basic unit, the theme of the music image with the title, the harmony of the combination of function and color, and the mode and tonality layout with the expansion technique as the characteristic. The second part emphatically from the Angle of my learning and playing practice music elements, music performance and technique aspects are summarized, that is necessary for us to pay attention to the intrinsic relations between the playing skill and music performance, from Ge Chang Xing processing performance, flexible rhythm, tone level and mood changes and pluralistic thinking on the combination of image and emotional tension. The third part focuses on the enlightenment that I get from studying this song, and holds that the interpretation of a work is not simply to rely on technology to complete, but to have a "three-dimensional" theoretical exploration and the formation process of playing thinking. So far, that is,on the basis of music analysis and understanding of music style,to achieve a high degree of integration of performance technology and music performance.
