| English writing ability is one of the most important communication skills,so more and more English learners and teachers have attached much attention to it in recent years.The traditional Results-Based Teaching Method has been unable to achieve the current teaching goals of cultivating students’ independent thinking and flexible writing.More and more teachers,therefore,are beginning to explore the Process Writing Method and practice it in class.They also begin to concentrate on students’ writing process,and try to intervene to guide and assist during pre-writing,while-writing and post-writing,in order to summarize effective English writing teaching strategies.Based on the theory of Scaffolding,this article explores the effective measures of Process Writing Method in high school English writing,and studies and summarizes the effective tools and methods of Process Writing Method at various stages.This article uses questionnaire surveys and interviews to research the current English writing teaching and writing problems.According to the survey results,the author designed the research plans and steps,then carried out a one-semester practical teaching in NO.22 Middle School of Zunyi City.Interviews were conducted before and after the practical teaching,and the writing scores of the final exam in the first grade and the final exam questions in the second grade were used to compare.We found that after a semester of Process Writing teaching and training,students have a certain increase in the pro-activeness of writing,which helps teachers in writing teaching to a certain extent.At first,guide students to accumulate writing on various topics under the section,and then invite students to practice through the three stages of Process Writing teaching and training,so that students can use relevant auxiliary tools for writing ideas and writing revisions.The results show that through the training and teaching of Process Writing Methods,students can properly use the accumulated sentence structure while writing,and they can also use the examination card to make pre-writing ideas,then they can communicate with their peers and teachers to modify and improve their own writing with the help of the Checklist.In the specific process of writing teaching,it is mainly carried out from the three stages of pre-writing,while-writing and post-writing.Before writing,students are guided to have an in-depth understanding of writing topics,sort out the writing content that may be used,and complete the examination card;while writing,teachers guide students to write the first draft and provide writing support and assistance for students with weak foundations;at the last stage,teachers guide students to use the checklist to make writing revisions between peers to improve their writing.Throughout the entire teaching practice and research process,teachers build writing scaffolds for students firstly until students can complete writing independently,students’ writing ability and confidence have been improved to a certain extent.In addition,the process writing teaching practice proves that this teaching method can help students strengthen the ability of cooperative learning and cultivate their independent writing ability.Later,Process Writing Methods can be used to complete different levels of English writing。... |
