Abstract/Summary:
Maurice Blanchot’s literary thoughts are influenced by Martin Heidegger’s ontology thought, and has both the poetic nature of literature and the intellectual nature of philosophy. So it is very unique in the history of literature and thought in the 20th century. This article mainly starts with Blanchot’s acceptance of Emmanuel Levinas’"il y a",discusses Blanchot’s development of Heidegger’s ontology thought in terms of death, origin, and language, and gives an overall summary of the mode and cause of Blanchot’s literary thoughts. This article is made up of three components:introduction, main body and conclusion. The introduction part gives a brief introduction to Blanchot, points out the ideological connection between him and Heidegger, sorts out and analyzes the current research status of Blanchot at home and abroad, and on this basis, puts forward the research purpose, significance and value of this article. The main body consists of five parts. The first part mainly elaborates the premise of Blanchot’s development of Heidegger’s thought. With the help of "i1 y a" which is not responsible for any existents,Levinas escaped Heidegger’s thought that Being must be reached by Dasein.Blanchot introduced "il y a" into the field of literature, explained it with "the other night",and developed Heidegger’s thought. The second part mainly discusses Blanchot’s development of Heideggers view of death.Heidegger’s "Being towards death" is a "possible" death that the subject can control.Through the discussion of suicide action and the analysis of the dying state in literary writing,Blanchot revealed the "impossible" death in which the subject lost its sovereign status. He introduced this side of death into literature and formed the literary thought of the writer’s death. The third part specifically explains Blanchot’s development of Heidegger’s origin view of art works.Heidegger believes that the origin of the work of art is the spontaneous occurrence of truth in the work. But Blanchot believes that the origin of literary works is in a dark space that can never be reached. It is a complete fallacy and has nothing to do with truth. The fourth part discusses Blanchot’s development of Heidegger’s view of language.Heidegger thinks that the speaking of language is the operation of the "Ereignis",which not only opens things and the world, but also allows them to be as what they are,in silence. For Blanchot, the operation of literary language points to its own silence, which will never have a relationship with the "Ereignis".The fifth part is the general interpretation of Blanchot’s literary thoughts. His literary thoughts formed an "alterity" space by asking questions. The emergence of this kind of thought was influenced by the following three aspects:Blanchot’s political experience in the 1930s,the“disaster" thought caused by the Second World War,and the Jewish thought of exile. The concluding part summarizes Blanchot’s development path to Heidegger’s ontology thought.Blanchot’s literary thoughts, which are combination of poetry and intelligence, adds a fresh element to the literary writing of the 20th century, provides the western thought of the 20th century with the possibility of going out of metaphysics, and brings reflections to the current society. Therefore,Blanchot’s literary thoughts are worthwhile for us to face the possibility of future literature with a more opening perspective,as well as thinking about the human existence.
