Reserch On The Penannular Jade Pendant In Warring States Qin And Han Dynasties In Yunnan-Kweichow Plateau

Penannular jade pendant,as a vein of jade article,is an important decoration in ancient China.From the perspective of archaeology,the typical regional ethnic characteristics and diachronal cultural evolution features contained in it have extremely complex connotations and meanings.With decades of archaeological excavations,a large number of excavated materials have provided sufficient conditions for the study of the development and evolution of the penannular jade pendant in the Warring States,Qin and Han Dynasties in Yunnan-Kweichow Plateau.Firstly,this paper makes a detailed review of the discovery,arrangement and research of penannular jade pendants in the Yunnan-Kweichow Plateau since the1950 s,and defines the research scope,research methods and part of concept,then on the basis of a comprehensive grasp of the material,previous research achievements for reference,using archaeological typology method and cultural factor analysis method,the detailed classification of the patterns and systems of the more than 1,500 penannular jade pendants excavated in this region（including some penannular agate pendants,penannular bone pendants）has been carried out,and the evolution rules and characteristics of various penannular jade pendants have been discussed.Based on the evolution characteristics of penannular jade pendants in different regions and periods within the range of Yunnan-Kweichow Plateau,the paper also divides the flora of penannular jade pendants,thus preliminarily constructing the development vein of penannular jade pendants in the Warring States,Qin and Han Dynasties in the Yunnan-Kweichow Plateau from vertical and horizontal aspects.In addition,combining with the historical documents,this paper makes a preliminary discussion on the historical background of such a development of penannular jade pendants and the ethnic relations reflected by it,and holds that the regional differences and stage characteristics of penannular jade pendant are closely related to the ethnic composition,the improvement of production technology and the promotion of Han culture in the Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau region.
