The Theme Painting Of Peach Blossom Land In The Earlyjoseon Dynasty

The image of Peach Blossom Land has been spread and evolved over thousands of years,which has had an important influence on Korean peninsula literature and painting.In the process of exchanges between the regime of the Korean Peninsula and China,the image of Peach Blossom Land has been spread eastward and localized,and has gradually been implanted in the hearts of local scholars.At the beginning of the Joseon Dynasty,the image of Peach Blossom Land has been further developed,the most famous of which is "Mongyudowondo".The entire volume of "Mongyudowondo" shows the scholars’ imagination and creation of the image of Peach Blossom Land,and the longing and yearning for Peach Blossom Land written by Tao Yuanming."Mongyudowondo" is the first theme painting of Peach Blossom Land in the early Joseon Dynasty,it is also a landscape painting with psychological and geomorphological features.The painting was created by Anpyongdaegun after he was sleeping in Peach Blossom Land and ordered the painter An Gyon to create according to his dream.In addition to the paintings,there are 22 compliments about the image of Peach Blossom Land written by Anpyongdaegun and 21 scholars at the time.As the first Peach Blossom Land theme painting in the true sense of the Joseon Dynasty,"Mongyudowondo" played an important role in guiding the development of painting in the middle and late Joseon Dynasty.After that,due to fierce partisan disputes,a large number of retreat plans have sprung up like mushrooms after a rain,and between dreams and reality entrusted the innermost feelings of the collide of literati and bureaucrats.This article combines the knowledge and research methods of sociology,history,art and iconology from several aspects such as literature,pictures,and objects.It comprehensively explores the influence of the spread of the image of Peach Blossom Land on the Korean Peninsula on the creation of the theme painting of Peach Blossom Land.By interpreting the structure of the entire volume of "Mongyudowondo",we can deeply explore the hidden connotation and meaning behind it.And put forward some of my unique opinions.
