Research On Yuan Ling’s Nonfiction Writing

As a mode of creation between literature and journalism,nonfiction writing has gradually entered the public eye in recent years with the development of network news media.More and more people begin to join the nonfiction writing,famous nonfiction writer are sprung up.In 2019,Yuan Ling won the yearly One Way Street Bookstore Literature Prize for Young Writer for his new book Silent Child,as one of the representative of the new generation of nonfiction writing,he has formed a unique style in nonfiction writing with his rich works,poetic language and the perspective of always keeping concern for the bottom.This paper takes nonfiction writing of Yuan Ling and his nonfiction representative work Silent Child as the research object,studies the characteristics and significance of nonfiction writing through content research,case analysis,depth interview and other research methods.The full text consists of the following six chapters: the first chapter mainly introduces the research background and significance of this paper,at the same time,the research status and main research methods at home and abroad are summarized.The second chapter focuses on the connotation and development of nonfiction writing.In the third chapter,experiences and major works of Yuan Ling’s non-fiction writing are sorted out.The fourth chapter focuses on the analysis of the content characteristics of Silent Child from the aspects of theme expression,interpretation of subject matter,image depiction and the special experience types of migrant children.The fifth chapter mainly analyzes the writing characteristics of Silent Child from the aspects of interview mode,plunging perspective,language narration and frame structure.The sixth chapter is based on the current status of nonfiction writing and combined with the development of the times in China,practical significance of Silent Child is summarized,at the same time,the paper probes into the need for improvement in Silent Child.The paper thinks that under the situation of nonfiction writing steadily development,as a representative writer of nonfiction,Yuan Ling observes and writes social reality from his unique perspective.He spent four years,visited 21 provinces and cities and visited more than140 children to write Silent Child.This paper not only shows the current living situation of urban and rural migrant children in China and children in ethnic minority areas in the face of foreign land,serious diseases,left-behind,single parent and other circumstances,but also shows that the spirit world that these children are calm,serious,tenacious and eager for affection and love,it reflects the social problems such as floating population,returning home and moving with others,education of migrant children,mining disaster subsidies,modern civilization dissemination,psychological growth and personality improvement of single-parent left-behind children.He uses the writing features of the field-style interview method,the parallel perspective,the language expression and the integrity of the structural layout,deeply reveals the multidimensional portrait and inner world of the floating children who are in trouble but still living upward,it is full of unique news value.The western writing mode and the eastern narrative style are used by Silent Child and it has certain enlightening significance to the development of nonfiction writing.
