Iron Margin

As an important art form in the development process of contemporary Chinese culture,the painting of comprehensive materials,as the "newborn" of Chinese art,has undertaken an important task.Different from traditional painting,comprehensive painting has a new understanding,extension and evolution in the selection and application of materials and techniques,and has been integrated into a new art form in a cross-boundary way.The diverse selection and integration of materials break the traditional concept of artistic creation and broaden the thinking concepts and artistic techniques of artistic creators.As the medium of artistic creation,it is the language that every artist cannot avoid in his creative path and the soul sustenance of his own emotions and spirits.The perfect connection between the material and the artistic theme is a way for contemporary artists to express their own feelings and spiritual values,and the works they create are full of a state of power and illusion.During the three-year study and research as a graduate student,the author took iron materials as his creative medium and research object to explore the convergence point between art and life.Through reading books and practice,I have a systematic understanding of iron materials.The artistic practice of iron materials has inspired the author to have more creative inspirations and ideas,to explore the true meaning of art and life,to find their own material language,to explore deeper language connotation,and to excavate the formal beauty and spiritual intention of contemporary art.With different essential properties of materials,the social value is also different.By virtue of their own aesthetic and spiritual understanding,artists have opened up the value of materials in art,and openness and inclusiveness coexist.This paper has three chapters,taking iron material as the discussion point of this paper,analyzing its aesthetic value and artistic value in comprehensive material painting,and exploring the material value in artistic creation.Through access to materials,life experience and practical labor,I have some basic understanding and perception of materials,appreciate the artistic works of successful artists,and study the deeper relationship between iron materials and artistic works.The composite material painting gives the material the opportunity to mount the art stage,and the iron material,as the artist’s creative medium,presents the new visual experience and spiritual exploration in a new way.
