New Discussion On The OSS Special Forces Of The Korean Liberation Army

The Liberation Army is an army formed in China by the Korean Provisional Government for the Anti-Japanese Independence Movement.In the Liberation Army,the OSS special force was established in the latter part of the Anti-Japanese War.The OSS special force received support and training from the United States and accomplished an important influence on the independence movement of Korea.Based on previous studies,this article collects and analyzes historical documents and archive materials which are relevant,also provides a more comprehensive and systematic study of the OSS special force of the Liberation Army by a field inspections.This article consist of five parts: the introduction,the three main chapters and the conclusion.Introduction mainly refers to the research status,research significance,research methods and the research characteristics of this thesis at home and abroad.The first chapter shows the process of the Korean kingdom being invaded by Japanese imperialism and becoming a colony.From a historical perspective,it traces the collapse of the Korean Kingdom and the process of Japanese imperialist aggression on the Korean Peninsula.The second chapter introduces the anti-Japanese independence movement that started from "March 1" and how the Korean patriots pursued national independence through the establishment of the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea and the Liberation Army.The third chapter focuses on the core content of this article,explaining the establishment process of OSS special force.The chapter also includes specific content of the Korean-US consultation,and discuss the organization scale,personnel selection,training content,training venues,training funds,sources of training equipment,and the outcome of the Liberation Army in detail for the joint training of OSS special force.The conclusion part mainly discuss and summarize the historical influence and status of the Liberation Army.Finally,the main purpose of this research of this thesis is to make some contributions to the study of the history of Korean independence movement.
