Targeted poverty alleviation is a national revitalization strategy of the party and the country."Poverty alleviation first,poverty alleviation must support wisdom" is a door to open education to help poverty alleviation.Paying attention to the health of poor children is an important measure to help poor children get rid of poverty and cut off the intergenerational transmission of poverty.This study explores the relationship between pro-social behavior,self-esteem and hope of poor children,and further analyzes the training methods and development goals of poor children’s positive psychological qualities.Research purposes:(1)To investigate the changing trends of pro-social behavior,hope and self-esteem of poor children.(2)Analyze the relationship between pro-social behavior,hope and self-esteem and gender differences of poor children.(3)Test whether there is a cross-lag between pro-social behavior,hope and self-esteem of poor children.Research objects and methods: This study is based on cross-lag analysis,using a follow-up study design,selecting pro-social behavior scale,self-esteem scale and hope scale,with 806 students in the first grade and second grade of a junior high school in a poor area of??Hunan Province.As the research object,there were 334 male students,accounting for41.4%,with an average age of 12±1.4;472 female students,accounting for 58.6%,with an average age of 12±1.5.The data tracking interval is one semester,divided into two surveys,and the total duration is about one year.Excluding 32 invalid questionnaires for the first time and 28 unanswered students for the second time,806 valid samples were finally selected.Based on the questionnaire survey object,this study used five cases to conduct in-depth interviews to further explain the causal relationship between pro-social behavior,self-esteem and hope.Research results:(1)The pro-social behavior and self-esteem of poor children showed an upward trend in a certain period of time,and hopefully showed a downward trend,but the overall trend was stable.(2)The pro-social behavior,hope and self-esteem of poor children in the pre-test showed a significant positive correlation,and the pro-social behavior,hope and self-esteem in the post-test also showed a significant positive correlation.(3)There is a clear difference between the gender and prosocial behavior,hope and self-esteem of poor children.(4)Pre-test prosocial behavior,hope and self-esteem can positively predict post-test prosocial behavior,hope and self-esteem,respectively,but pre-test self-esteem cannot predict post-test prosocial behavior.(5)Through interview research,it was found that pro-social behavior,hope and self-esteem of poor children have a certain impact due to family poverty.Countermeasures and suggestions: Schools should vigorously carry out mental health education for poor children,and cultivate the quality of their self-esteem and hope from the early stage of poor children,so as to enhance the value orientation of pro-social behavior.Families should raise awareness of the negative impact of poor children on the environment.Parents of poor children should increase their concern for their children and provide a scientific way of family education to promote effective communication between parents and children.The society should pay more attention to the groups of poor children,especially the media should conduct reasonable publicity reports,guide the society’s concern and support for the poor children,and effectively introduce social resources into the poor areas to benefit the poor children.So as to achieve the ultimate goal of all poverty-stricken children from the successful experience of poverty alleviation to the realization of all poverty-stricken children.
