An Analysis Of The Development Of The Southern Lion From The Perspective Of Social Change

Under social changes,lion dance,one of the most dynamic items in national traditional sports,has undergone processes such as the transformation of survival soil,the transformation of inheritance methods,the reconstruction of performance organizations,the disenchantment of related myths,and so on.Where should the development of South Lion go? What modern transformation has happened to the Southern Lion in social interaction? These issues are worthy of our consideration.This study takes the dynamic relationship between social changes and the development of Nanshi as the research object,takes the development of Nanqiao in Xiqiao Town as the survey object,and adopts research methods such as literature and field investigations to first describe the overall overview of Xiqiao and the origin of Nanshi;Based on the evolution of Chinese society and politics,the development process of Nanqiao in Xiqiao Township is divided into four periods: the traditional period,the expectation period,the recovery period and the transformation period.Based on the above analysis,borrowing Parsons’ "AGIL" functional theory to interpret the internal logic of the development process of the South Lion activity in Xiqiao Town from four dimensions,drawing the following conclusions: Cultural identity is the South Lion activity The maintenance mechanism of interest;the demand for interests is the motivation mechanism of the Southern Lions activity;the elite leadership is the coordination mechanism of the Southern Lions activities;and the social support is the guarantee mechanism of the Southern Lions activities.Through the interpretation of the development and changes of the southern lion in Xiqiao Town,we discovered its predicament and causes.The main dilemmas are: lack of protection consciousness and inheritance crisis;low marketization and lack of funding sources;older artists fade out and inheritance talents are disconnected;schools lack consensus and campus inheritance is lacking.The main reasons are social changes and changes in people’s interests and needs.Based on this,a relative strategy is given for the future development of Nanqiao in Xiqiao Town: raising awareness of protection and enhancing cultural awareness;innovating lion dance skills to cater to the needs of society;enriching types of events and expanding the inheritance group;actively taking on functions and popularizing campus heritage.Based on the above case analysis,the impact of social changes on the development of Nanshi is summarized,which has implications for the development of traditional national sports in the future: "Village Revitalization Strategy" provides the foundation for the development of traditional national sports;the "non-legacy protection" policy provides the development of traditional national sports Opportunity;"Sports + Tourism" model provides a platform for the development of traditional national sports;"Belt and Road" construction provides a path for the spread of traditional national sports.
