Study On The Female Writing Of The Early Tongcheng School

The genre of Tongcheng School’s literary creation is diverse.Its prose has occupied a dominant position in the Ming and Qing literary circles and even for a long time afterwards.The "elegant and clean" style advocated has been inherited by later generations.In the relevant research of the Tongcheng School,in general,most of them focused on the study of the writer’s work,or the exploration of the relationship between the creative style and the cultural attributes of the era,as well as ideological and academic research.Relatively speaking,the research on female subjects is still weak.Occasionally,there are writings,mostly about women’s studies in personal works,or women’s studies in a certain style,lacking macroscopic overall attention.Based on this,this article studies the female writing of the early Tongcheng School from the perspectives of typology,ontology,and creation.The details are as follows:The first part is to explore the reasons for the prosperous writing of early Tongcheng writers.The early days of Tongcheng School writers’ female writing flourished,mainly due to frequent wars,the prosperity of Neo-Confucianism,and the development of female education.These factors all promoted female writing.In addition,the support of national policies is also one of the factors that cannot be ignored.The development of Neo-Confucianism and women’s education cannot be separated from the support of national policies.It is precisely because the ruler’s emphasis on ideas and the affirmation of women’s chastity that they can further promote The prosperity of Tongcheng school female writing.The second part is to analyze the main types of female writing by early Tongcheng writers.The women described by early Tongcheng school writers as the main research objects of this article can be roughly divided into four categories: the first category is the image of a virgin who keeps a feast for the fiancé or husband;the second category is the fierce category of the husband who died at the feast or was unyielding in violence;The third category is the kind of good wives and mothers that have always been praised in Chinese tradition;the fourth category is other women with their own shining points in the works of Tongcheng School.In the writing of these female images,there are not only the ethical conflict between love and courtesy,but also the motherhood inheritance of education and education.Together,they constitute the female writings of early Tongcheng school writers and enrich their connotations.The third part discusses the creative characteristics of early Tongcheng school writers’ female writing.The Tongcheng School’s creation is mainly prose.In terms of its female writing style,there are mainly biographies,epitaphs,and birthday prefaces.In the writing of female biographies of early Tongcheng school writers,their main creative features are: 1.Writing requirements: embodying feelings in the text,and elegant and clean language.Second,imitate and extend: the integration of human feelings and praise and criticism.The writing characteristics of early Tongcheng school female epitaphs mainly have two aspects: 1.Writing formula: fixed structure.In terms of epitaph creation,the structure is relatively fixed,generally divided into three parts: the first part explains the family origin and family history of the tomb owner,the second part describes the life,deeds and behavior of the tomb owner,and the last part is written with a rhyme inscription.Praise and praise.2.Evaluation discourse: False and true coexist.The epitaph itself is to narrate the life deeds of the deceased,in order to achieve the purpose of passing on to later generations,so its content is mainly to write good deeds in the life of the deceased.However,in many cases,the epitaph is an entrusted text,and the writer is not very clear about the deceased.He can only rely on the narrative of the entrusted person and his own imagination to create with the method of coexistence of reality and fiction.The early Tongcheng school writers wrote about women’s birthdays and their writing features were generally a combination of narrative and argumentation,and their words were gorgeous.Apart from biographies,epitaphs,and birthday prefaces,there are still some other styles in the writing of Tongcheng school women,such as books,memorials,and some memorial styles.Different writers in different periods have different styles of preference,and these styles together constitute Tongcheng.The method used by the writer to record women.Finally,in the remaining part of the article,I discussed the female images of the Tongcheng school writers in poetry creation.The study of such materials can also enrich our thesis.
