Study On Yan Shu’s Aesthetic View

Yan Shu was a famous litterateur in the early years of the Northern Song Dynasty.He was proficient in the creation of poetry and prose.He was known for his Ci poems and was honored as “the First ancestor of Ci writers in the Northern Song Dynasty“.He lived in the heyday of peace,and his life was described as “Rich and Elegant“.Later generations rated him as a“rich poet“,and believed that his Ci also presented the aesthetic style of “Rich and Elegant“.Predecessors have studied the meteorology of wealth and honour in Yan Shu’s Ci comprehensively,but ignored the study of the meteorology of wealth and honour in Yan Shu’s articles.With the in-depth study of Yan Shu’s articles by the academic circle,they found that both his articles and his Ci had similar aesthetic characteristics.Therefore,this paper discusses the aesthetic thought,aesthetic characteristics,aesthetic value and influence of Yan Shu’s articles which from the perspective of studying the aesthetic view of Yan Shu’s articles.Firstly,it explains the influence of Confucianism and Taoism on Yan Shu’s aesthetic thoughts and The Reason of Yan Shu’s Esthetics Thought.Secondly,it discusses the aesthetic characteristics of Yan Shu’s articles.This paper makes a comparative study of Yan Shu’s articles and his Ci to find out the commonality of Yan Shu’s articles and his Ci in aesthetic characteristics and summarize them,and analyze the reasons for the formation of its aesthetic characteristics.The first chapter,the introduction,briefly introduces the research status of Yan Shu and his articles at home and abroad since the 1990 s as well as the overview of Yan Shu’s articles.Secondly,this paper analyzes the thoughts of Confucianism and Daoism reflected in Yan Shu’s articles,discusses the influence of Confucianism and Daoism on Yan Shu’s articles,so as to explain the aesthetic thoughts of Yan Shu’s articles and explore the value of Yan Shu’s articles.The third chapter,through the comparative study of Yan Shu’s articles and his Ci,this paper analyzes the aesthetic style of Yan Shu’s works as a whole,and then focuses on the analysis of the aesthetic characteristics of Yan Shu’s article “Rich Tsinghua“.Finally,combining Yan Shu’s family life and his predecessors’ influence on his articles and Ci,this paper discusses the reasons for Yan Shu’s articles and Ci to be “Rich Tsinghua“ meteorology.The fourth chapter,summarize the aesthetic value of Yan Shu’s articles and its influence on the literary scholars at that time and the article creation of later generations.
