The study of traditional craft materials is one of the most important aspects of the modern lacquer painting innovation and breakthrough,this article selects important language as the main research object,through history,aesthetic value and aesthetic application comb,tried in this paper,the important materials used in modern lacquer painting from the traditional technique to modern painting language transformation process of development,combined with their own lacquer painting creation practice,about the traditional lacquer art important materials in the application of contemporary lacquer painting schema to explore,discuss its painting and spirituality.I hope that in the process of learning contemporary lacquer painting creation,I will make full use of the inheritance of traditional lacquer painting techniques and material application,and make continuous innovation,so as to provide a small contribution to the contemporary construction of lacquer painting.This paper is divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which discusses the research background and significance of the paper,makes a literature review on the relevant materials of the topic,expounds the research status of motherinlaid inlay at home and abroad,and the research purpose,content and innovation of this paper.The second part discusses the aesthetic concept of mother-of-pearl,enumerates the application of mother-of-pearl language at home and abroad,mainly starts from the development history of the traditional mother-of-pearl technique in China,then describes the characteristics of mother-of-pearl technique in foreign countries,and connects with the innovative practices in related fields in modern times.The use of mother-of-pearl reflects both delicate traditional symbols and distinct modern elements.The third part firstly analyzes the representative lacquer painting works in recent years,respectively expounds the application of mother-of-pearl language in different lacquer painting schemes in contemporary times,and then introduces two clues by asking questions to interpret the aesthetic embodiment of mother-of-pearl language in traditional and contemporary times.The fourth part focuses on its own creation and exploration,and combines its own painting creation with practice and theoretical research.The exploration of mother-of-pearl language and the creative thinking of schema are discussed respectively.Firstly,the aesthetic taste of various applications of mother-of-pearl language in specific cases was listed.Secondly,several major works were selected during the postgraduate period,and the new application and new harvest of the language conversion from the preliminary line draft to lacquer were compared and analyzed.The fifth part summarizes and looks forward to the future,trying to convey the inheritance and innovation of traditional material language through my own research cases,and looking forward to the important significance of new techniques and new materials to the contemporary construction of lacquer painting in the future.
