"Thematic art creation" has important grand narrative function and special symbolic significance in the history of Chinese art in the 20 th century.It vividly displays the magnificent struggles of modern Chinese society in the form of painting,and enthusiastically carries forward the national spirits of diligence,bravery and self-improvement.Today,it still describes the great course of Chinese civilization with abundant passion,adding splendid pictures to the art treasure house of our country.Since the reform and opening up,more and more painters have been immersed in the exploration of contemporary transformation of thematic art creation.With the spirit of innovation,they strive to expand the new face of thematic art creation in the composition of painting space and expression of artistic language,and devote themselves to the research of plane visual presentation of thematic creation.First of all,this paper traces back to the historical origin of thematic art creation of Chinese painting,and analyzes its unique educational and aesthetic functions;secondly,it discusses the unique phenomenon of the marriage of art and revolution in modern Chinese art in the early 20 th century based on the historical requirements of national salvation;and then through the research and combing of the excellent paintings in the thematic creation of Chinese painting since the 21 st century,we can see that the new appearance of painting language and art form is emerging,and discuss the research direction of contemporary transformation of Chinese painting creation-the characteristics of "planarization";once again,taking the contrast between the traditional position management mode of Chinese painting and the planarization thinking of western modern and contemporary painting as the starting point,the paper analyzes the significance of the new form and new language in the contemporary Chinese painting thematic creation which embraces the advantages of Chinese and Western painting.Through the typical paintings,the paper discusses how the contemporary painters expand their own artistic path and contribute innovative value on the basis of inheriting the traditional Chinese aesthetic concept.Finally,combined with the above research,the paper elaborates the specific thinking and application of spatial plane visual expression as a form language in the author’s creative practice...
