Mr.Gao Weijie is one of the key figures in Chinese contemporary composition.He is a “scholar composer” who integrates creation,teaching and theoretical research.He is good at the organic integration of music and national culture in his creation,especially focusing on the creation technique combination of classical literature and modern music in China.And he pursues the perfect integration of tradition and modernity in his works,which is highly audible.At the same time,the development of his creative thinking is basically based on the rigorous and orderly theoretical technology and literati feelings.So to speak,his music works have the characteristics of high balance between rationality and sensibility,high integration of innovation and inheritance.“Si Shu” is a chamber music work completed by Mr.Gao Weijie in 2017.Idea development in the work is based on the emotional tone of “nostalgia”.In terms of theme,the composer uses the theme characteristic similar to “impromptu and sentimental poems”,and borrows the word “Longing for Shu” to express his feelings of missing his old friends(Zhu Zhou and Yu Shu)who once wrote the “night feast in Shu Palace”(in1982)with him;In terms of melody and materials,it inherits the tonal characteristics of“night feast in Shu Palace”,and creates the structure of its theme materials of the beginning and middle part for the second time;In terms of creation idea,the whole work has a profound idea and presents literati aesthetic concept of “advocating the ancient and advocating the ordinary”;In terms of composition technology,it has the characteristics of simplicity.Therefore,it can be intuitionally seen that change and innovation of creative thinking of Gao Weijie in recent years from his work “Longing for Shu”.Due to the close connection between the two works of “Longing for Shu” and “night feast in Shu Palace”,and even the existing phenomenon of linkage,the research of this paper also adopts the corresponding phenomenology “symbolized three-level progressive structure”(i.e.original image / image / representation three-level structure)and take it as the frameworks of this paper.The first chapter mainly combines the source of the works from the “original image”,that is,analyzes the original materials that have not been transformed in the works.The second chapter explains the spiritual level of the work from the “image”,that is,the creative intention.Finally,the third chapter analyzes the creative techniques of the formed works from the perspective of “Representation”,that is,the analysis of the music score and audio data of “Longing for Shu”.Through the study of these three part,this paper attempts to present the multi-dimensional and progressive deduction process of “original image”(linear traceability),“image”(in-depth interpretation),“image”(macro construction technology),based on which it reveals the creative characteristics of “deep meaning and simple writing” in the work “Longing for Shu”.
