| Documentaries are arts of film and television.They pay attention to authenticity,reflecting real people and real things as well as obtaining creative materials from real life.At the current time,it is the "best era" for documentaries to develop.As the continuous raise of the demand of video and audiovisual,for documentaries,not only the frames and music might be delicate and refined,but also the role of music played is more and more prominent in generating documentaries.The use of music during producing music-themed documentaries is crucial,to determine the wonderful degree of a film and the expression of the theme.Music is an indispensable element for documentaries when a band is the research subject.Firstly,it plays the essential role called the "creator" of the atmosphere and the storyteller.Then,increasing the versatility of character features and enhancing the quality of films are also significant factor in the process of generating documentaries.However,this paper will discuss the full range of theme music-documentary producing process,with exploring the various methods of music using.Therefore,the article will take the author’s graduation work "Double Youth" as an example to demonstrate and present the research object.First of all,the concept of the documentary and its development status will be explained.Meanwhile,the origin and developed progress of music in the documentary will be discussed.What is more,combined with an in-depth analysis of "Double Youth ",it will argue the basic use of music and the special value of music in documentaries.Then,integrating with the series of analysis,this dissertation will confer the extension of applying music in documentary and the specific develop space in this research subject.Finally,the full text will be summarized.Through a detailed analysis of " Double Youth ",it will explore the various characteristics of music usage result in conveying the significance of music during creating music-theme documentaries.On the other hand,further discussing its extension is an effective method to maximize the range of exploring the exact character of music in creating documentary. |
