Children’s educational documentaries should show the living conditions of children,reflect the spiritual world of children and focusing on the development and growth of children.The usage of participation means in children’s educational documentaries can better stimulate the audience’s recognition of children,from cognition to understanding,and then change the public’s actions,so as to realize changing the world with records.The thesis,making analysis and arrangement on the current means of participation,children’s theme documentary analysis and related references,combining with a large number of representative cases as well as the creation process of A Firmament of 11,and trying to summarize a set of participation in children’s education methodology of rational use in the documentary film,provides some theory reference and practice experience for this type of documentary film.The thesis makes research on the participation means used in children’s documentaries,including the 4 chapters:The first part,starting from the selection of participation documentary method,summarizes the general characteristics of participation documentary method and their application in children’s educational documentaries.It discussed that participation methods are more conducive to guiding children to show their inner emotions and how to control the feasibility and scale of the implementation of participation methods from the perspective of recording ethics.The second part starts from the narrative construction,focusing on how to build a partner identity with the education subject,constructing the narrative framework,establishing the partnership as the main point of view,taking the active interaction between participants and the education subject as the main form,and carrying forward the role of participation record in positive feedback to the reality.The third part,starting from participation means in film producing practice,combining with personal work experience and what one has learned from work,making a reasonable project as the prophase preparation,setting clear directions in thinking,making arrangements of the detail in order to represent the original ecological life landscape,demonstrates the practical application of participation method,which is combined with theory and practice.The fourth part,based on post-production,mainly discusses the processing methods of children’s educational documentaries’ material under the influence of participation methods in the three aspects,including editing processing,scene construction and theme expression.
