Being one of the significant carriers to guide people to understand the world,books exert a vital role in human life.As new media develops rapidly,an increasing number of readers gradually pay attention to the interesting experience while reading.Therefore,it is particularly crucial to integrate the design concept of interesting interaction into the design of traditional books,which provides a novel idea for the long-term development of book design today.This paper focuses on making readers gain an interesting and participatory experience in the course of reading.The work “HAPPY Research Institute” takes traditional children’s games as its creation background,which,in terms of design techniques,is mainly divided into two levels for analysis and research.The first level elaborates the props,rules,and others of traditional children’s games from four aspects including book format,layout,color and binding method.The interesting design of books is depicted in the second level,which is the key topic to discuss in this paper.This level is further designed for regularity,entertainment and competitiveness of traditional children’s games from three angles that are content guidance,motivation of behavior and the touch of materials,making readers finish reading in interesting interactive experience.Through the interesting interactive design of “HAPPY Research Institute”,the author hopes to achieve close communication with readers and make them feel the surprise brought by interactive devices in the process of reading in order to enable readers to have a deeper understanding of the connotation of traditional children’s games,so that traditional children’s games can be inherited and developed to a certain extent. |
