Discovery And Preliminary Study Of Paleolithic Archaeology In Datong Basin From 2016 To 2018

In a broad sense,Nihewan Basin includes Yangyuan basin,Yuxian basin and Datong Basin.As an important part of Datong Basin,it plays an indispensable role in defining the overall regional Paleolithic culture and constructing the research system of "danihewan".Based on the investigation results from 2016 to 2018,this paper systematically combs the Paleolithic archaeological results of Datong Basin from the following three aspects,and analyzes the features of its stone industryFirst of all,this paper defines the scope of time and space discussed in this paper,describes the topography of Datong Basin,including the geographical location and the current situation of the geography.The geography also includes the introduction of mountains and water systems,and the discovery of Sanggan River,Yanghe River and other basins are described in sections for the convenience of writing.At the same time,the purpose,content and research methods of this study are clarified.Secondly,based on the investigation and discovery of the Paleolithic sites in Datong Basin since the founding of the people’s Republic of China,it can be roughly divided into three stages: first,from the founding of the People’s Republic of China to the 1960 s,the work of this stage is mainly to accumulate preliminary data for the investigation and discovery;second,from the 1960 s to the beginning of this century,the work of this stage is the basis of the previous stage At last,from the beginning of this century to the present,the work of this stage includes not only the review of the excavated sites,but also the systematic and large-scale regional investigation,the excavation of some sites and the comprehensive study of the obtained data.Thirdly,the overall cultural research and analysis of the relics obtained from the investigation and excavation in the Datong Basin in recent years are expounded from three parts: buried characteristics,stone product characteristics and stone industry characteristics,and in the stone industry characteristics,it is divided into two categories: small stone stone industry and fine stone industry.For the simultaneous small stone sheet industry type and fine stone industry type,it needs to be studied independently.Finally,this paper summarizes the research results of the Paleolithic age in Datong Basin in recent years,and puts forward some problems to be solved in the related work,so as to provide ideas for the follow-up research work.
