Discussion And Enlightenment Of Contemporary Seal Script Creation

As the beginning of the development of Chinese characters,seal script has an extremely important position in the history of Chinese calligraphy.Contemporary seal script not only carries the essence of history,but also presents multiple developments and changes.The National Seal Calligraphy Fair is the most representative single-item seal calligraphy exhibition across the country,which to a considerable extent shows the highest level of domestic seal calligraphy creation.Especially through the exhibition hall effect,the charm of calligraphy art has been maximized,and many new calligraphy creation methods and forms have been produced,not only in line and structure,but also in ink,seal,signature,seal,and paper.The color matching of ancient characters and how to innovate ancient characters have put forward higher requirements,so as to form a good work with the artistic aesthetics of the times.This article focuses on the three national seal calligraphy exhibitions hosted by the Chinese Calligraphers Association from 2010 to 2018,focusing on some of the award-winning works of the three exhibitions.In-depth analysis of the important elements in the creation of seal scripts,exploring more possibilities in the creation of seal scripts,and developing new ideas and models for the study of seal scripts,and integrating and applying them in the author’s graduation creations,taking the essence,Standing on the shoulders of giants,exploring their own artistic style positioning,In the process of creating calligraphy art in the future,he will master more creative skills,avoid some detours,and gradually get out of his own way of creating seal script.
