“Fate”is the ultimate problem that everyone in the society has to face, and it is also a key research field in the history of Chinese philosophy. The in-depth study of Zhuangzi’s“fate”theory is one of the ways to understand Zhuangzi and the traditional Chinese philosophy of fate.Taking the concept of“destiny”as the topic, starting from the social status quo and based on the thinking of“destiny”,Zhuangzi completed a philosophy of“destiny”with profound significance.Starting from the text of Zhuangzi’s inner text, this paper deeply interprets the content related to“destiny”,tries to deeply explore and interpret this rich thought of“destiny”,thus reclassifies this thought of“destiny”,and holds that this thought can be summarized in three aspects:the destiny of natural law,the destiny of moral law and the destiny of helpless fate.Combining the ancient scholars’annotations and the modern and contemporary scholars’ studies, this paper compares the fate theory of Zhuang Kong and Zhuang Meng by the way of contrast between Confucianism and Taoism, and expounds the connotation of the three aspects of the fate theory,so as to deeply analyze Zhuang Zi’s attitude towards standby.Pointed out that zhuang zi in the natural law and social ethics and living circumstances of life in front, put forward the face life of the helpless, the means shall,if the life of the party,to achieve“if life and DE of Ann to”purposes, the final sublimation to“DE by their department”,spiritual intensity of free and unfettered freedom,at the same time, expect to give us the secular people to the survival of certain enlightenment and desirable values.
