The Study Of Li Shi’s Poetry

Li Shi(1108-1181),known by his word and named Ark,was a famous scholar in Central Sichuan during the Southern Song Dynasty.He made great achievements in Confucian classics,literature,education and painting,and was highly praised by celebrities like Lu You,Zhou Bida and Chen Zao.There are 479 poems in existence in Li Shi,which are rich in subject matter and diverse in genre.However,the current academic research on Li Shi focuses on academic thought,and the research on poetry is rare.In order to have a deeper understanding of the whole picture of Li Shi’s poetry creation,this paper will take 479 poems in Li Shi as the research object,take the literature method,the text close reading method and the literature and history mutual proof method as the main research methods,and take Li Shi’s life and family background as the research background of poetry,and analyze the main contents and artistic features of his poems.Through the research,it can be known that in Li Shi’s life,the edification of good family atmosphere,the contacts with the children of noble families,and the friends of famous literary figures,on the one hand,these experiences influenced the formation and development of the school of Chinese capital headed by Li Shi,promoted the transformation of Shu studies in Song Dynasty,enriched his life experience and provided rich poetry creation themes;On the other hand,it also promotes the continuous improvement of Li Shi’s creative skills.Embodied in poetry creation,firstly,there are 135 unique poems of Fan Poems,which are the combination of the background of the times and the poet’s painting ability.This kind of poetry is light in form and takes quatrains as its genre.The content is rich,including the description of small scenery,the record of life leisure,the expression of life interest and the exposition of Buddhist truth interest.On the whole,it presents the unique characteristics of poetic and artistic,entertaining,and realizes the ingenious integration of color,sound,picture layout and Confucian artistic view and poetry.There are also daily life poems with trivial life details as the theme,poems describing landscapes and pavilions,poems expressing care,comfort and ambition,and poems expressing blessings and thoughts.Secondly,the diversity of artistic style,from the perspective of poetry form,group poetry forms abound,all kinds of genres have appeared,and the seven wonders are especially good for poets;From the origin of poetry style,Su Shi’s ups and downs,Du Fu’s profound reality and Bai Juyi’s simplicity and popularity are all used for reference by poets;From the perspective of poetry expression skills,on the one hand,it strengthens the narrative characteristics of poetry from the aspects of poem title,poem preface,self-annotation and handling of events;On the other hand,through the clever use of allusions,the poetic flavor is enhanced.In short,Li Shi’s poetry should be paid attention to in the poetry circle,and it is worth further study and objective evaluation.
