As a well-known official scholar in Longyou during the Zhengde and Jiajing reigns of the Ming Dynasty,Hu Zuanzong was engaged in politics in both North and South areas of China,apart from political affairs,he was diligent in literary creation and left a lot of creations.He promoted the restoration of poetry and literature with his fellow townsmen Li Mengyang,Kang Hai,and Wang Jiusi,advocated learning poetics of the Han and Wei dynasty,prosperous Tang dynasty,and learning literary from Qin and Han dynasty,making great contributions to the formation of literary restoration thought.Based on the research of Hu Zuanzong’s poetry creation,this paper analyzes the writing achievements of Hu Zuanzong’s poetry in detail,and simultaneously,this paper explores the general picture of the mid-Ming Qin Long poetry circle using Hu Zuanzong’s communication and propositions.This article consists of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction mainly introduces the research status of Hu Zuanzong,sorts out various research results of Hu Zuanzong in the academic field,and explains the significance and research methods of the selected topics.The body text consists of seven chapters: The first chapter combines various historical materials and introduces the life experience of Hu Zuanzong in detail.Simultaneously,his existing works are divided into four categories: poetry creation,academic works,local chronicles,and poetry anthologies.The second chapter illustrates Hu Zuanzong’s friendship,and divides his friends into three categories: friends of the officer,famous scholars from the same country,and scholars from the South area.The answer to the work is to analyze Hu Zuanzong’s personality and the influence of his teachers and friends on his literary creation.The third chapter analyzes the literary propositions of Hu Zuanzong.The literary trend of the Ming Dynasty has undergone many changes,and the trend of retro thinking flourished until the mid-Ming Dynasty.As a firm advocate of the retro scholar,Hu Zuanzong advocated elegance and style in poetry creation.He compiled "Qinhan proses" "Tang poetry" to help tiro learn to write.Hu Zuanzong made great efforts in the construction of Qin Long regional poetics.Not only did he continue to justify Qin Long literature in his poetic creation,he also specially introduced the poetry of Qin Long’s past dynasties through compiled the book "Yong poetry" he compiled,and made great contributions to the construction of Qin Long regional poetry.The fourth chapter summarizes the theme and content of Hu Zuanzong’s poems,and divides his poems into three categories: namely,social and people’s livelihood poems with national events and people’s hard work as the main content;landscape and pastoral poems which describes scenery and the joy of the countryside;previously,the mourning poems with the main content of gifting and remembrance,excellent works were selected from t these works for analysis.The fifth chapter outlines the artistic characteristics of Hu Zuanzong’s poems.Hu Zuanzong’s poems covered various of artistic forms,in which Qi Lv was prominent.The Qin style was showed in the overall style and the strengths of southern and northern poetry was highlighted.Appropriate famous stories were used frequently in the creative technique,and the words were simple but rich.The sixth chapter explores the genre of Hu Zuanzong’s prose,divides his prose into four categories: preface and postscript,biography,epitaph and funeral oration,and letters,detailed analysis was carried out for the most representative prose being selected.Chapter 7 elaborates on the artistic characteristics of Hu Zuanzong’s prose,analyzes from the perspectives of its style,technique and emotion,and concludes that the characteristics of Hu Zuanzong’s prose is vigorous and overwhelming,the characteristics of creative techniques are changeable and vivid,and the emotion of prose is simple and sincere.The conclusion of this paper summarizes Hu Zuanzong’s achievements in poetry and prose,and evaluates its status and influence in the mid-Ming literary world.
