| Lamps are used in people’s daily life and production work widely,meanwhile,they are also one of the common burial objects in tombs.The Han Dynasty was the peak of the development of lamps in our country.Although Gansu is located in the northwest frontier fortress,there was also a great development on the lamps in the Han Dynasty.According to archaeological data,the copper tripod lamps unearthed from the Warring States Tombs in Miaozhuang,Pingliang City is the earliest lamps used in life in Gansu.At present,the lamps from the Han to Jin Dynasties unearthed in Gansu are divided into seven categories,according to their materials: pottery lamps,copper lamps,wooden lamps,mud lamps,brick lamps,stone lamps and celadon lamps.Among them,the number of pottery lamps is the largest one,reaching 61 pieces,which are mainly distributed in Hexi Corridor and Longdong area.From the Han Dynasty to the Wei and Jin Dynasties,the production methods and modeling characteristics of lamps have changed significantly.This paper takes the period from 206 to 581 BC as the time range.Taking Gansu Province as the geographical range,the unearthed lamps from the Han to Jin Dynasties were sorted out,analyzed and studied.The archaeological findings of pottery lamps unearthed from the Han to Jin Dynasties in Gansu Province are analyzed in detail,and analyzing them from the perspectives of age,time and space.At the same time,the shape and structure of pottery lamps unearthed from the Han to Jin Dynasties in Gansu were divided which summarized Summarize the evolution rule of the shape and structure of ceramic lamps in this period.This paper compares the pottery lamp,copper lamp,clay lamp and other lamps unearthed from the Han to Jin dynasties in Gansu province from two aspects of modeling characteristics and spatio-temporal distribution to analyze their similarities and differences;Through the analysis of the location of the unearthed lamps in the tomb and the combination of unearthed objects to understand the social culture and funeral customs of Gansu during the Han to Jin Dynasties.On the basis of archaeological discoveries,unearthed lamps’ analysis and research are of great significance for us to understand the development of lamps,social life and ideological culture in Gansu from Han to Jin Dynasties.At present,some ralated issues of the pottery lamps unearthed in Gansu lacks attentions.Lack of special systematic sorting and research.Therefore,this paper takes the pottery lamps unearthed in Gansu during the Han and Jin Dynasties as the research object which to comprehensively sort out and analyze the shapes,patterns and types of Gansu pottery lamps.In order to explore the social features and funeral customs in Gansu during the Han and Jin Dynasties. |
