The pottery bowl is one of the important food utensils unearthed from the Han to Jin tombs in the Hexi Corridor.As an important carrier of food culture and etiquette system,it is closely connected with the living customs of people of all ethnic groups.The study of pottery bowls is useful for understanding the material culture of the people at that time.And cultural life has great reference value.The Hexi Corridor is located in the northwestern part of Gansu Province.As the main passage along the Silk Road Economic Belt,it has a profound historical and cultural heritage.Therefore,this article takes the Han-Jin pottery bowls unearthed in the Hexi Corridor as the main research object,divides them typologically,and compares them with the contemporary pottery bowls unearthed in Guanzhong and Xinjiang regions.The social customs and food culture of the Hexi Corridor in the period.This paper sorts out 411 pottery bowls from Han to Jin tombs unearthed in the Hexi Corridor.The number of pottery bowls is huge and the system is complete.The distribution of pottery bowls is affected by topography,showing the characteristics of more in the west and less in the southeast.Through the analysis of the distribution area of the pottery bowls and the combination of eating utensils unearthed from the Han to Jin tombs in the Hexi Corridor area,it has great reference value for the study of the economy,politics,population migration,and food culture at that time.Through the type analysis,it is found that the main types of pottery bowls in the Hexi Corridor are open(extravagant),constricted,and straight pottery bowls.The distribution areas of different types are also different.On the whole,the evolution sequence of pottery bowls is relatively complete,and the characteristics of each period are also more prominent.To a certain extent,it can be used as a reference for the dating of pottery bowls.Through the sorting and analysis of pottery bowls from the Han to Jin period unearthed in the Hexi Corridor area,combined with archaeological excavation reports and briefings,it is found that the pottery bowls in the Hexi Corridor area from the Han to Jin Dynasty were not only used as food containers,but also used for lighting as a lamp.There are also earthenware bowls for cooking purposes.The combination of pottery bowls unearthed from the Han to Jin tombs in the Hexi Corridor area,pottery bowls and eating utensils unearthed in Guanzhong and Xinjiang areas was compared and analyzed,and the exchange and integration between Hexi culture,Guanzhong culture and Xinjiang culture were discussed.Through a comparative study with the pottery bowls unearthed from the Han to Jin tombs in Guanzhong and Xinjiang,it is believed that the pottery pots from Han to Jin in the Hexi Corridor are not only related to pottery pots in the above-mentioned regions,but also have Hexi characteristics.At present,there is a lack of relevant research on the pottery bowls unearthed from the Han to Jin tombs in the Hexi Corridor,and there is a lack of specialized and systematic sorting and research.Therefore,this article takes the pottery bowls unearthed from the Han to Jin period in the Hexi Corridor as the research object,comprehensively sorts out and analyzes the pottery bowls from the Han to Jin Dynasty unearthed in the Hexi Corridor to explore the social customs and food culture of the Hexi Corridor from the Han to Jin periods.
