An Analysis On The Artistic Language Of Experimental Animation "Xi"

This paper is about the creation practice and analysis of the experimental animation "Xi".The experimental animation short film has become an important part in the history of animation art with strong artistic expression and unique exploration and innovation.The essence of the experimental animation is to start from the working method and try to break through the boundary of the original art.This paper focuses on the experimental animation "Xi" created by the author.Through the creation practice,literature review and case analysis,this paper analyzes the modeling language,symbolic expression,the use of media,scenes and sound effects of the experimental animation "Xi".Through the analysis of the creation practice of drama,this paper puts forward the following personal views.For the experimental animation,the exploration of the sense of form has independent value and significance.A large number of experimental animation works may not emphasize the concept.For the experimental animation,the author thinks that the more important thing is its "experimental".In the creation practice,the experimental animation "Xi" created by the author focuses more on the exploration of painting style,mainly discusses the exploration of the experimental animation in the use of painting,symbol symbolism,modeling language and lens language,which is also my understanding and practice that the experiment is higher than the concept.At the same time,in terms of presentation effect,my creation drama breaks the traditional presentation technique and the aesthetic habit of horizontal screen browsing,adopts the vertical screen 9:16 vertical screen presentation mode,brings people a more focused viewing angle,and drives the viewer’s mood by magnifying the details.The exploration of vertical screen lens language is also an exploration and research direction of the author’s topic.
