Study On The Image Design And Digital Artistic Expression Of The Four Spirit Beasts Of Shan Hai Jing

With the rapid development of economic globalization and informatization,a large number of Western art have flowed into the country,which has brought a greater impact on the development of China’s traditional culture and art.Under the influence of this external shock,more and more designers in China are beginning to realize the importance of traditional culture.No matter what art form is inseparable from the accumulation of historical culture,traditional culture and art should be recognized and inherited again.And innovation.The traditional ancient book Shan Hai Jing not only has a high academic value in the study of history,mythology,and literature,but also provides a valuable source of inspiration for the creation of modern art design.Although the Book of Mountains and Seas has a history of more than 3,000 years,many popular game and film and television characters have come from the images of strange beasts in the Book of Mountains and Seas,but people still pay little attention to the original works.Especially the younger generation knows very little about it.Therefore,we need to break the single stale image of traditional culture in our minds,use digital art forms,spread and promote excellent traditional culture in immersive experiences,and think about the modernization of traditional culture from a new perspective.This article is mainly to analyze the problems encountered in the process of inheriting the strange beast art image in Shan Hai Jing at this stage,and to explore the social culture and ancient emotions behind the strange beast art image in Shan Hai Jing from the perspective of the integrity of life.The image design of the spirit beast,combined with the current development status of China’s digital art industry,provides new ideas and methods for the modernization of traditional culture,and then inherits the spiritual connotation in traditional culture.The Classic of Mountains and Seas is an important part of China’s traditional art.With the purpose of promoting Chinese traditional culture,it studies the historical materials and picture books related to the image of alien beast art,laying a theoretical and ideological foundation for the modern design of the Four Spirit Beasts.The full text is divided into six chapters.The first chapter is the introduction,which discusses the background,current status,purpose,meaning,innovation,difficulty,research content and method of the subject.The second chapter briefly describes the problems and significance of the artistic value and inheritance of The Classic of Mountains and Seas.The third chapter is an overview of the image of the strange beast in Shan Hai Jing.It analyzes the causes,morphological classification,visual language interpretation,and general characteristics of the image of the strange beast from a holistic perspective.From this,I feel the fortitude and bravery of the ancients in the face of difficult environments,Respect for nature and life.Chapter four selects the auspicious beasts with beautiful meanings in Shan Hai Jing for illustration design.Chapter 5 explores the feasibility of the application of the Four Spirit Beast Image Design in three fields of augmented reality,interactive installation art,and holographic projection,and creates design works that meet the aesthetic taste of contemporary young people,which helps to deepen and enrich the traditional Chinese art image The modernized re-creation provides new research ideas and new application methods for the digitalization of traditional art images in the future.
