The Study On Xu Xi’s "Xie Xin Za Ju"

Xu Xi,is one of the important literati drama writer in the middle period of The Qing Dynasty,and his literary creations or thoughts are very characteristic,aiming to express his own emotions,having certain influence on the Chinese Opera in The Qing Dynasty.This paper will with Xu Xi’ s 18 kinds of drama,"Xie Xin Za Ju",as the studying object,analyzing its creation content,journey of his heart,and creative features,making every effort to grasp the overall condition of him and his drama.Contacting on this basis,make an objective and fair evaluation of it with the connection of other writers’ works,to highlight his legendary drama in the middle period of The Qing Dynasty drama.The article will consist of four parts.The first chapter provides an overview of Xu Xi’s life,friends and related writings,so as to show his course of life and thought forming process,to show the whole situation of him.The second Chapter consists of two parts: creation content and probing into the writer’s mentality.On the basis of a comprehensive understanding of his legendary drama’s content,combined with his life experiences,emphatically exploring writer’s mentality process reflected by the creation content,focusing on the analysis of its contradictory complex mentality.The third chapter discusses three aspects: his legendary drama’s creation,mainly from material selection,resigning questions and answers,creating Lyrical space,to make a detailed analysis of the text from the surface to the point,in order to explore his drama own characteristics.The fourth chapter and conclusion part are mainly discussing his legendary drama ‘s main achievements and status.This chapter attempts to put it in the One-act Operas at the beginning of The Qing Dynasty and self-narrated drama research scope,mainly through comparing other One-act Operas and self-narrated drama writer works,to summarize the main achievements from Xu Xi’s drama.Conclusion part briefly summary Xu Xi’s and his legendary drama’s influence and position in the history of literature in The Qing Dynasty.
